Overview

Objetives

  • Deepen the academic training of graduates in Basic Education, focusing on the knowledge necessary for teaching in the First Cycle of Basic Education and of Portuguese, and History and Geography of Portugal In the Second Cycle of Basic Education, responding to social, cultural and ethics of education, ensuring the quality of the education system
  • Contribute to educational innovation, by strengthening general educational training and specific didactics, while also ensuring training in the cultural, social and ethical areas and initiation into professional practice
  • Encourage educational research, with effects on the transformation and improvement of pedagogical practices, on the improvement of teaching-learning processes, and on the dynamization of the school as a space for collaborative sharing of knowledge, construction of knowledge and socialization
  • Train new generations of teachers essential to the renewal, with quality, of the education system

Tuition and Fees 2021/2022

National Students: 697 Euros

International Students*: 2000 Euros

Application Fee: 50 Euros

Registration Fee and School Insurance: 175 Euros

Note: The  tuition of this course can be paid in 10 installments, being the first at the time of registration and the remaining in the months of October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May and June.

* in accordance with Decree-Law No. 36/2014, changed by Decree-Law No.62/2018, of 6th August, international students are nationals of a country which is not a Member State of the European Union and are not a legally resident in Portugal for more than 2 uninterrupted years by 1st of January of the enrolment year
