In July 2018 the UAlg's Library received the documentary fund of the Health School, which was integrated.
The documentary fund of the Health Library comprises mainly foreign bibliography.
It comprises:
  • about 4500 books classified and arranged on the shelves according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC);
  • 15 current newspapers;
  • 123 periodis titles whose publication is terminated or suspended;
  • 4 international standards;
  • 134 audiovisual records (CD-Rom and DVD)
  • 24 master's and Phd theses.
The existing documentary fund mainly covers the following thematic areas:
- Dietetics, Nursing, Pharmacy, Human Physiology, Pathologies and Public Health.
